I am writing from Bristol which is irrelevant but wanted you to know that I am saddened by your loss. Your family truly never knows, each and every day, if you will come home safely. Part of your day was to enjoy your time with Siren, both at work and at play. Know you made the right decision to end Siren's suffering. I believe it is the most difficult thing to do in life, make a decision to end the suffering of your pet, your four legged child.

On another note, if in fact someone did poison Siren, may they rot in hell. The people who harm animals, any type of animal, intentionally are the scum of the earth. if it was a revenge act, that person is pond scum. Anyone who causes harm to an animal, who cannot defend itself against such criminal behavior, doesn't belong on our streets. Try not to dwell on it but I'm with you. One day that person will have to look you in the eye and explain their acts.

Siren has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is waiting for you on the other side. He is playing with all the animals already there. My wonderful yellow lab, Billie, is probably playing with him right now. God bless.....
