PORTSMOUTH — Here are some recent highlights from the Portsmouth Police report.
Wednesday, May 29
Emily C. Tucker, 28, of 2340 East Main Road, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, with damage resulting to another vehicle, following a motor vehicle accident at Cumberland Farms at the intersection of Stubtoe Lane and East Main Road shortly before 4:40 p.m.
Dawn A. Sears, 54, of 200 Bulgarmarsh Road, Apt. 1R, Tiverton, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense), at about 5:40 p.m. Police pulled her over on East Main Road at Union Street after getting a request to check the condition of the driver, police said. Ms. Sears was also cited for refusing a chemical test, police said.
Thursday, May 30
Cynthia B. Brough, 68, of 85 Willow Lane, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense), after being pulled over on East Main Road at Town Hall around 3:20 p.m. Police said the stop was made after they received a request to check the operator’s condition.
Sunday, June 2
Jesse C. Kanaley, 27, of 530 North Falmouth Highway, North Falmouth, Mass., was charged with driving while intoxicated after being pulled over for a traffic violation on West Main Road at Locust Avenue around 12:45 a.m. The driver was also cited for refusing a chemical test, police said.
A 17-year-old runaway juvenile was found shortly before 8:30 p.m., police said.
Monday, June 3
Peter A. Reynolds, 28, of 390 West Main Road, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after being pulled over for a traffic violation around 12:15 a.m. at Tom’s Lawn & Garden Equipment on East Main Road. He was also cited for refusing a chemical test, police said.
Sean V. Fisher, 24, of 19 Saint Elizabeth St., Apt. 1, Bristol was charged with driving on a suspended license (third offense) after being pulled over for a traffic violation on West Main Road at Mailcoach Road around 9 a.m.
Tuesday, June 4
Chong W. Yoon, 75, of 182 Armando Drive, was arrested shortly before noon on a warrant charging him with violating a no-contact order.
Christopher W. Tavares, 40, of 159 Pitman St., Fall River, was arrested on a bench warrant issued from 2nd District Court after the vehicle in which he was riding was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 24 North at Cedar Island around 5 p.m.
Friday, June 7
Gregory L. Carroll, 49, of 5 Kent Road, Middletown, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after he was pulled over for a traffic violation on Turnpike Avenue at Freeborn Street around 1:15 a.m. Mr. Carroll was also cited for refusing a chemical test, police said.
Saturday, June 8
Andrew M. Korzen, 44, of 5 Spring House Trail, Seekonk, was charged with driving with a suspended license after being stopped for a traffic violation on West Main Road at King Charles Drive at about 8:40 a.m.
Sunday, June 9
Stewart Perry, 56, of 155 Cottage St., Pawtucket, was arrested on a bench warrant issued from 3rd District Court after the vehicle in which he was riding was pulled over for a traffic violation on Turnpike Avenue at Gorton Street around 9:40 a.m.
Robert C. Glover, 83, of 3225 East Main Road, Apt. 103, was charged with domestic assault. Police made the arrest after responding to a report of a domestic disturbance at Sakonnet View Apartments at about 3:15 p.m.
Frederick J. Kelly, 64, of 29 2nd Ave., Branford, Conn., was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) after being pulled over for a traffic violation on East Main Road at Selina Lane around 8:15 p.m. Mr. Kelly was also cited for refusing a chemical test, according to police.
Tuesday, June 11
April I. Hadley, of 85 Clear View Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct (obstructing a street, hall, aisle, etc.) after police responded to her home to investigate a disturbing-the-peace report around 12:15 a.m.
