PORTSMOUTH — March is National Youth Art Month and you can celebrate it by taking in some of the unique artwork created by local students at several different locations in town.
The opening celebration was held Thursday at the Portsmouth Free Public Library, 2658 East Main Road, which is displaying works by student artists from kindergarten to grade 12.
Portsmouth visual art and design exhibits also are on display at Town Hall, as well as throughout the schools.
Exhibits and events are happening throughout the month conducted from the Portsmouth Public Schools art departments.
These exhibits are on display through the month of March.
