PORTSMOUTH — Three state lawmakers from Portsmouth invite local residents to join them and the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources for an upcoming local event to learn about a vast array of savings opportunities to improve fuel efficiency.
The event, hosted by Rep. Terri Cortvriend (D-Dist. 72, Portsmouth, Middletown), Sen. Linda L. Ujifusa (D-Dist. 11, Portsmouth, Bristol), and Rep. Michelle McGaw (D-Dist. 71, Portsmouth, Tiverton, Little Compton), will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 10, at the Portsmouth Free Public Library, 2658 East Main Road. (Note: McGaw is the wife of Jim McGaw, editor of The Portsmouth Times.)
The session will be an opportunity to learn and ask questions about all the ways you could save money and energy in your household, from clean energy tax credits and rebates to heat pumps and electric vehicles.
The meeting is free and open to the public. No advanced registration is required.
