Newport man charged with cyberstalking, trespassing
PORTSMOUTH — Here are some recent highlights from the Portsmouth Police report:
Friday, May 1
Timothy L. Haslam, 61, of 15 Canonicus Ave., Newport, was arrested on a warrant charging him with cyberstalking. The arrest came after police stopped his vehicle in the area of West Main Road and Prescott Point shortly before 7 p.m.
Tuesday, May 5
Taylor E. Hill, 31, of 2701 East Main Road, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct, violating a no-contact order, and obstruction and officer in execution of duty. The arrest was made after police responded her home shortly before 8 p.m. to investigate a report of a physical altercation between a man and a woman. According to police, Ms. Hill originally provided a false name, and had an active no-contact order with a 35-year-old Providence man who was there.
Friday, May 8
Timothy L. Haslam, 61, of 15 Canonicus Ave., Newport, was arrested on a warrant charging him with willful trespass at a Portsmouth business. His vehicle was stopped at about 7:20 p.m. at 300 West Main Road by officers who were aware of the Portsmouth warrant, according to police.
Sunday, May 10
Angela M. Manchester, 48, of 36 Alan Ave., was charged with domestic assault after police responded to her home at about 5:15 p.m. to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. Police said the victim was a 62-year-old man from Portsmouth.
Eileen L. Walker, 57, of 31 North Drive, was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense), after police responded to a report of a vehicle operating on the wrong side of the roadway in the area of Park and Cedar avenues at about 6:25 p.m. Police said Ms. Walker was found standing outside her vehicle. She was also cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test, police said.
Angela M. Manchester, 48, of 36 Alan Ave., was charged with violating a no-contact order she had with a 62-year-old Portsmouth man, according to police. Police said they responded to her home at about 8:10 p.m. to investigate a possible violation of a court order.
