To the editor:
Mr. Trump is right about a few things.
First, the long-standing dispute between Israel and the Palestinians can be resolved by asserting that Palestinians don’t matter. Then they can be relocated to some generic Arabic-speaking nation and Israel can have the now-vacant land. Problem solved.
Second, President Zelenskyy could end the special military operation in Ukraine very easily. All he has to do is surrender, and give Putin everything he wants. Problem solved.
However, he is wrong about so many things that they can’t easily be listed.
First, inflation was not the fault of Joe Biden or the Democrats; it is a worldwide situation, and we came out of it better than any other industrialized nation. The rising price of eggs is being driven by avian flu, not by Bidenomics.
Second, U.S. consumers will bear the cost of tariffs, not foreign governments.
Third, winning 49.9 percent of the popular vote is not a “mandate.” More voters voted against the current president than for him, and many of them, especially Arab-Americans, are beginning to regret it.
