Letter: Paper shows its ‘liberal left’ leanings with editorial

To the editor:

In regards the editorial appearing in the Dec. 26 edition: First, let’s correct the title from “editorial” to “liberal left editorial.” Is it possible we could ever get a different point of view in this section of the paper?

On the first point regarding global warming — whoops, excuse me, climate change — I’d ask what expertise does the author have on this subject? My guess is reading fake news and half-truths put out by the self-serving global-warming experts (i.e. promotors) — whoops, I mean climate change experts — which is happily passed on by the liberal media.

I’m no expert or scientist, just a retired engineer by profession, but I have done some reading on the subject. The “deniers” are not saying that the climate is not changing (more liberal media fake news). It is a proven fact climate and temperature changes have taken place long before modern man has lived on this planet. (The more recent cold periods versus warm periods have been the most destructive to mankind.)

What hasn’t been scientifically proven as fact is how much man is responsible for these changes in recent times and those “predicted” for the future. I’d suggest the editorial author and those who agree with him read “Inconvenient Facts” (the science that Al Gore doesn’t want you to know), by Gregory Wrightstone. At least get the facts straight as to what is being denied.

As far as animal cruelty goes, I’ve said this here before and I will say it again, liberal democrats are more concerned with cruelty to animals than they are with the murder of innocent human babies in the womb. I prefer what Mother Teresa of Calcutta said: “Any country that accepts abortion is the poorest of the poor.”

As far as Judge Ginsburg is concerned, I do not wish her ill health. Time and age, though, is what it is. Apparently, according to the liberals, she made the grave mistake of not retiring while the previous president was in office.

Short note on the other liberal voice, “POLI-TICKS,” in your paper: Long story on the flight of the Holy Family, then, “No good choices. Sound familiar?” Absolutely no clue as to her point.

P.S. on climate change: Is it possible the workings of the whole universe could have been planned by a Supreme Being who would then have the last say as to our planet’s end?
