Letter: Legislators, opponents wrong in labor contract legislation issue

To the editor:

This is soooo much drivel! Both the Federal Labor Relations Authority and the National Labor Relations Board honor the labor law and regulation of "Status Quo Ante". Which means that even an expired contract between identical parties is the starting point of any new negotiations.

The only time things go backwards is if you are dealing with a new union or the organization has had a total reorganization.

Please don't delude yourselves that letting a contract die gets you back to "no contract status". The law and legislation was totally unnecessary and redundant. The ignorance in this state is becoming unbearable!
