EAST PROVIDENCE — Aspiring singer/songwriter and city native Scout Lyons dropped her latest single, “Cliché,” earlier this week, April 20.

According to the liner notes, “Cliché” shows off Scout’s “spunk!” and “takes inspiration from the pop-punk movement, skate culture, and everything Y2K.” The video for “Cliché” includes mermaids, aliens, and escaping a room filled with laser beams. Lyons, 21, released her debut single “Do My Thang” in 2017 and has been creating music ever since.
