Police went to Highland Road at 4:12 p.m. for a report of several people feeding turkeys in the middle of the road at the curve.

Tuesday, Feb. 4

A box of syringes was found outside a Main Road business.

A DOT worker cleaning up trash along Route 24 found a check book belonging to a Tiverton resident. The resident picked up the checkbook.

A woman was reported sitting on Fish Road at  8:20 p.m. Police gave her a ride home.

A man reported that a woman with whom he had been video-texting is threatening to post videos of him on the internet unless he pays her.

Wednesday, Feb. 5

Police went to the casino at 4:10 a.m. to assist with the ejection of a patron.

Jason J. Ledoux, 39, of Fall River, was arrested at 1:11 p.m. on a Superior Court bench warrant and on an affidavit and arrest warrant.

At 12:55 p.m., a utility pole snapped along Stafford Road. National Grid responded.

Joel G. Giaconetti, 27, of 2553 Main Road, Tiverton, was arrested at 11:53 p.m. on a charge of domestic simple assault.

At 3:23 p.m., a resident reported a car “racing down Tower Hill Road trying to hit her chickens.”

At 6:43 p.m., a woman told police that she gave $9,500 to a company over the phone and fears she has been scammed.

Thursday, Feb. 6

Robert Correlas, 60, of 700 Windward Drive, Tiverton, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct.

A Shove Street reported that while he was not at home, his door camera recorded a man trying to enter his front door.

At 2:33 p.m., police and rescue went to Stafford Road for a 911 report that a car had flipped over. Nothing was found.

At 3:32 p.m., police responded to a report of a man running back and forth and into a pole at a Fish Road location. “Appears to be intoxicated.” He was given a ride home.

At 4:05 p.m., police checked on a report of vandalism to the Channel 6 tower off Lafayette Road “from kids climbing on it.”

A vehicle struck and killed a dog on South Lake Road at 5:50 p.m. The owner was contacted.

At 7:14 p.m., a Christopher Avenue resident said he returned home to find his front door open and both dogs (pit bulls) gone.

A Randolph Avenue resident reported loud bass coming from the garage next door (called last night with same complaint).

Friday, Feb. 7

Alexander Botelho, 36, of Fall River, was arrested at 6:26 a.m. on a charge of simple assault at the Tiverton Casino.

At 12:05 p.m., wind blew wires down onto the street on Evans Avenue.

At 12:52 p.m., wires reported down on Neck Road — dead fox and squirrel found near live wires.

At 1:50 p.m., a tree fell on wires and blocked half of Bulgarmarsh Road.

At 2:16 p.m., a tree fell across Fish Road.

At 3:04 p.m., live wires down across Fogland Road.

At 3:29 p.m., a tree took down wires on Eight Rod Way.

At 3:31 p.m.,  a tree blocked the southbound lane of Main Road near Stone Bridge Liquors.

At 3:33 p.m., a tree fell across Eagleville Road.

At 3:49 p.m., wires down on Sawdy Pond Avenue, tree caught fire.

At 3:54 p.m., tree fell on wires on East Road.

At 3:57 p.m., a large limb blocked Lake Road.

At 4:03 p.m., wires down, fire engine needed on Dion Avenue.

At 4:25 p.m, multiple trees blocked Sylvia Road and took out wires.

At 4:43 p.m., pole down off Victoria Avenue, wires down.

At 10:15 p.m. wooden chair fell onto Route 24 and damaged a vehicle

Sean O. Olsen, 44, of Fall River, was arrested at 4:31 p.m. on a charge of reckless driving on Main Road near the Fall River line.

Saturday, Feb. 8

At 8:14 a.m., a sign blew down on Route 24.

Amanda V. Lezandro, 33, of Fall River, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on charges of narcotics possession and narcotics possession with intent to deliver at a Leger Lane location.

A 42-year-old resident of 241 Cornell Road was arrested at 9:10 a.m. on a charge of felony assault at that address. The case was later dismissed and the records sealed.

Susan M. Isidor, 49, of Fall River, was arrested at 7:23 p.m. on a charge of narcotics possession at a Main Road business.

Sunday, Feb. 9

Luis M. Pacheco, 63, of Fall River, was arrested on a charge of domestic vandalism at the Tiverton Casino at 4:16 p.m.

At 10:34 a.m., a motorist reported that the driver of a pickup truck was tossing Miller Lite cans out the window. 

After receiving complaints about gunfire, police spoke to hunters near Presidential Drive.
