Wednesday, March 17
At 9:24 am, police were called about a fence issue on Grinnell Avenue.
An attempted break-in was reported at a residence on Blaisdell Avenue.
Dylan M. Ferreira, 21, of 56 Wood St., Tiverton, was arrested on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct at 11:26 pm at that address.
A parent called to report that her 10-year-old had not come home from school on the bus that day as usual. A short while letter, the parent notified police that the child had gotten a ride with a neighbor.
Police were called at 5:11 pm about a large gathering at a Main Road location, no Covid precautions. An officer visited and found four people present.
A witness reported seeing the driver of a car full of juveniles strike a female passenger at the Stafford Road Dollar General. Police could not locate the vehicle.
Thursday, March 18
At 2:33 am, a Bourne Mill Apartments resident called to complain about a loud party in a nearby apartment. Police advised the participants to quiet down.
A deer was struck and killed on Bulgarmarsh Road at 5:43 am.
Someone going through residents’ trash was reported on Crandall Road at 8:11 am.
A Lake Road resident called police about a case of internet fraud.
Friday, March 19
Police went to the Tiverton Casino at 9:20 am to assist with a permanent ejection.
Damage to a building was reported on Judson Street at 11:19 am.
Nwanze Chuckwubuikem, 31, of Bourne Mill Apartments, 1 Mill St., Tiverton, was arrested on a Superior Court Bench warrant and on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.
At 2:04 pm, a resident required medical attention after being scratched on the head or neck by a cat.
Police and rescue were dispatched to Stafford Road at 3:57 pm after receiving a 911 call about a woman struck by a vehicle. She was not injured.
Police went to Fogland Beach at 5:01 pm after being called about a Jeep and a Dodge Caravan doing donuts in the sand.
Saturday, March 20
At 6:48 am, police were notified that a cat on Eight Rod Way had been bitten by a stray dog.
At 12:38 pm, a woman reported that a vehicle is following her home from Grinnell’s Beach and is now slamming its brakes in front of her. She was advised to drive to the station.
Police took a report of suspicious activity on Nanaquaket Road at 1:35 pm — Male and female parked in (car) with no clothes on.
Three black BMWs and a blue Subaru were reported northbound at a high rate of speed on Route 24 at 6:17 pm.
At 9:05 pm, people preparing to start a campfire on Fogland Beach were advised that that is not allowed.
Sunday, March 21
At 1:49 am, several callers reported loud bangs in the area of Hooper, Carpenter or Hilton streets — thought to be fireworks or a neighbor who owns a cannon.
Residents complained about a loud party in Bourne Mill Apartments at 2:13 am.
Mario J. Cabral, 61, of East Providence, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, blood alcohol concentration unknown, and refusing to submit to a chemical test, at 1:45 am at the Main Road entrance ramp to Route 24.
A 911 caller reported a neighbor dispute on Fairfield Avenue — neighbor ripping down decorations and planters.
Police were alerted to ATVs and dirt bikes being driven up and down Deer Run Road at 3:05 pm.
Tiverton Casino issued a permanent ejection to a customer at 4:25 pm.
A caller told police that she believes a former Sawdy Pond Avenue resident moved out and abandoned a dog with no food or water in the unheated house.
A Margaret Street resident said he was threatened by a delivery driver at 7:28 pm.
Monday, March 22
A resident came to the station at 10:09 am to complain about a gift card scam.
The sound of gunshots in the area of Town Farm was reported at 11:22 am. The shooter was advised about an ordinance.
Police investigated a 1:45 pm 911 call about a neighbor dispute on Fairfield Avenue possibly involving assault. An ambulance was called but later cancelled.
A Neck Road resident called 911 several times to tell police about threats involving an unwanted person on his property starting at 5:18 pm.
Crandall Road residents contacted police at 9:55 pm about a neighbor who they said was yelling and intoxicated.
Tuesday, March 23
A Main Road resident reported a case of identity theft.
Barking dogs were reported on Hayden Avenue at 2:41 pm.
Sherri Ann Feldman, 45, of 462 Lake Road, Tiverton, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 8:42 pm at a Briarwood Avenue location.
Stephen R. Marzilli, 43, of 166 Briarwood Ave., Tiverton, was arrested on a charge of domestic violation of a no-contact order, second offense, at 10:16 pm at that address.
Police were asked to check on an altercation at the Tiverton Casino at 3:45 pm.
A North Court resident called 911 twice starting at 10:51 pm to report two teenage males throwing rocks at her house. Police checked but found nothing.
