Tiverton police logs: Man faces felony domestic assault charge

Monday, April 24

Jerelle D. Jordan, 31, of 1295 Stafford Road, Apt. #2, was charged with domestic simple assault and/or battery, domestic disorderly conduct, and domestic obstruction of the telephone after a Stafford Road caller reported harassment at 9:25 a.m.

Trespassing was reported on Main Road at 10:15 a.m.

Steven Matheis, 42, of 341 Child St., Warren, was arrested on a bench warrant after being pulled over on Route 24 at 1:13 p.m.

A caller reported a suspicious person on Hooper Street at 4:01 p.m.

A caller reported an intoxicated person at a business on Main Road at 5:46 p.m.

Tuesday, April 25

A Grinnell Avenue resident reported a phone scam at 4:25 p.m.

A Cornell Street resident reported harassment/threats at 5:02 p.m.

Jennifer L. Maria, 42, of 132 Mulberry Road, Apt. #5, Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, BAC unknown, after a resident reported an intoxicated person at 11:35 p.m.

Wednesday, April 26

Breaking and entering on Fish Road was reported at 2:29 a.m.

Lisandra Rosario Cruz, 31, of 220 Johnson St. Apt. #47F, Fall River, MA., was arrested on a warrant after police pulled her over on Stafford Road at 9:30 a.m.

Harassment/threats were reported on Windwood Drive at 9:47 a.m.

Road rage was reported at 12:17 p.m. on Route 24.

Thursday, April 27

Police were called to a disturbance on Pierce Avenue at 3:43 a.m.

A Russell Drive resident reported a neighbor dispute at 3:06 p.m.

Trespassing was reported at 8:20 p.m. at the Tiverton Casino.

A 911 caller reported burglary/breaking and entering on Fish Road at 11:34 p.m.

Friday, April 28

Property damage  was reported on Crandall Road at 6:37 a.m.

Joseph Robert Sousa, 62, of 49 Hancock St., Apt. #4, was charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbance at a Stafford Road business called in at 10:41 a.m.

Harassment/threat on Main Road was reported at 2:57 p.m.

A phone scam on South Avenue was reported at 3:33 p.m.

James W. Foose, 38, of 493C Stafford Road, Apt. #C, was arrested after a caller reported domestic assault at 7:37 p.m. Foose was charged with domestic criminal violation of a no contact order, domestic simple assault and/or battery, domestic disorderly conduct, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and simple assault and/or battery.

Saturday, April 29

A Massey Road resident reported harassment/threats at 9:45 a.m.

Larceny was reported at 4:27 p.m. from Neck Road

Sunday, April 30

A disturbance on Pocasset Avenue was reported at 1:49 a.m.

Keith Levesque, 38, of 75 Laura St., was charged with domestic felony assault and/or battery and domestic disorderly conduct, second offense, after police investigated an incident on Laura Street at 2:37 a.m.

A Florence Street resident reported the violation of a restraining order at 5:09 p.m.

A fire on Bulgarmarsh Road was extinguished after being reported at 9:15 p.m.

Monday, May 1

Police were asked to keep the peace after an East Road caller reported an incident at 11:37 a.m.

Larceny on Christopher Avenue was reported at 3:09 p.m.
