A vehicle struck a deer on Industrial Way at 12:22 am. The deer ran away.

An officer went to Hooper Street at 2:55 am for a suspicious person report. The man was walking his dog.

Tiverton assisted Little Compton Police with a domestic issue at 3:26 am.

A King Road business notified police at 2:49 pm that a caller won’t stop yelling at an employee over the phone. At 3:44 pm, the business called again to report that the man is now calling from a different number. Later, “harassing phone calls starting up again.”

A Main Road business called at 3:06 pm to report that a man is walking around the property despite being asked to leave. An officer reported, “party has left the area.”

The Senior Center on Stafford Road reported receiving scam phone calls.

A car sustained a damaged windshield when it struck a turkey on Route 24 north.

Wednesday, March 31

A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Fish Road park and ride at 1:54 am. “Two females talking, no issue,” the officer found.

At 1:29 pm, a caller reported that a vehicle with Massachusetts plates at the Bulgarmarsh flea market “dumped a bunch of trash and took off.”

At 4:48 pm, a woman involved in a divorce process asked that police check her car for concealed tracking devices. No devices were found.

Thursday, April 1

A 911 caller reported wires down across the roadway on Merritt Avenue.

A scooter was reported stolen from the Bulgarmarsh Recreation Area.

Police checked on a possible man in distress walking on Route 24 at 11:34 am. The man was not in distress, an officer said — he was walking back to Fall River from Newport. The officer gave him a ride off the highway.

A caller from Tiverton Senior Housing reported scam calls said to be from the government.

Police were notified at 3:19 pm that people moving out of a State Road apartment were dumping furniture on the roadside. 

A Narragansett Avenue caller reported FedEx packages being placed in a “suspicious location.”

Friday, April 2

Laurie L. Fernandes, 41, of New Bedford, was arrested on a bench warrant from 6th Division District Court at 5:35 pm on Main Road.

A hit and run accident involving an unoccupied vehicle was reported at the Tiverton Casino at 5:57 pm.

Juan C. Suarez Rodriguez, 26, of Fall River, was cited for driving with a foreign license while his license was suspended at 9:35 pm on Main Road by the Fall River line.

Eric C. Cavaca, 48, of 72 Judson St., Tiverton, was cited for driving with a foreign license while his license was suspended at 11 pm on Shove Street.

Saturday, April 3

Amanda V. Lezandro, 34, of New Bedford, was arrested on a Superior Court bench warrant and on a warrant from another police department at 2:40 am at the Tiverton Casino.

Police went to Bulgarmarsh Road at 6:55 am after receiving a report of a dead dog on the roadside. “Just a blanket wrapped up,” an officer said.

A 911 caller said teenage occupants of a vehicle on Crandall Road were throwing items out of the car.

A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Bulgarmarsh Recreation Area at 5:09 pm. An officer found a town employee painting the clubhouse.

At 11:40 pm, a 911 caller complained that boys were shooting stones out of a metal pipe and hitting the caller’s roof.

Sunday, April 4

A resident notified police that his grandmother is sending money to someone on Instagram.

Callers reported a man sleeping alongside Main Road near the Fall River line. No issue, he is waiting for an Uber, police said.

In response to a 911 call, police went to check on turkeys on Route 24 at 6:18 pm.

Monday, April 5

Stephanie E. Quinlan, 30, of 282 High St., Bristol, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, .15 percent or greater, at 12:48 am on Route 24 north before the state line.

A 911 caller reported a car fire alongside Route 24 north at 5:43 am.

At 7:47 am, a lawn company reported that someone on Narragansett Avenue had threatened to shoot a gun at them.

Marcus A. Browner, 27, of Fall River, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license, second offense, at 6:40 pm on Stafford Road.

Monday, April 5

At 3:20 pm, Nanaquacket Road resident reported the theft of a red 72” commercial Jacobson riding lawn mower from the driveway.

A Judson Street resident called police at 6:08 pm to report that a neighbor is throwing food in the yard and attracting large rats. One of those rats bit the caller’s dog in the face a week after the dog’s rabies shot expired, the caller said. Police spoke to the neighbor who said he would cease putting food out.

Police were called to Shore Road at 8:34 pm for a report of a neighbor dispute with property damage.

At 8:39 pm, a Crandall Road caller reported a woman running up and down the roadway swearing.

A resident alerted police to a package with no return address in her mailbox that smells like marijuana.

Tuesday, April 6

Austin M. Freelove, 21, of West Warwick, was arrested on charges of having an open alcoholic beverage container while in a motor vehicle, and driving with a suspended license at 1:57 am on Route 24 north near the state line.

Thomas Street residents called at 1:56 pm about a car alarm sounding for over an hour.

Ashley Ferreira, 32, of 436 Crandall Road, Tiverton, was arrested on a Superior Court bench warrant at 2:39 pm at that address.

Paul R. Abraham, 50, of Plymouth, Mass, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge at 6:53 pm at the Tiverton Casino.

Jose A. Collado, 36, of Providence, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license, third offense, at 6:40 pm on Main Road near the Fall River line.

Scott Thiboutot, 45, of Swansea, Mass., was arrested on a charge of animal cruelty, care of dogs, at 8:08 pm on Christina Drive.
