Thomas Reis, age 62, of Little Compton, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 7, 2021.

Tommy was born in Fall River, the son of late Joseph and Eva Reis and brother of late Richard and Denise Reis.

He was a lifelong landscaper and owner of Reis Landscaping and Gardening, LLC, for 40 years with pride, talent and integrity.

A devoted husband of 40 years he was married to his best friend, Susan (Manchester) Reis. A father of two, and guardian to so many more, Tommy was a papa, brother, uncle and cousin.

Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends cooking claim boils and watching NASCAR racing and cruising in his ’66 Malibu. Tommy was the most generous person, but as tough as nails.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Susan Reis; daughter, Nicole Reis of Tiverton; son, Nicholas Reis of Little Compton; brother, Joseph Reis and wife Roseanne of Georgia; two sisters, Eva Marie Phelan and her husband Jeff of Fall River, and Gail Seavor of Florida. Tommy was blessed with three grandchildren, Jayden, Ryan and Emma Farias of Tiverton.

In lieu flowers, donations can be made to The Little Compton Food Bank, 401-635-2722.

A celebration of life for Tommy will be held this summer.

Private arrangements under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport, will be held.
