Georgie A. (Manchester) Bodington, 94, of Little Compton, died Thursday, April 6, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was wife of the late Alfred H. Bodington.
Born in Little Compton, daughter of the late Albert F. and Lillian B. (Wimer) Manchester, she was a lifelong resident of Little Compton. An avid reader, she also enjoyed country music, but most of all she was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include two grandson, Charles A. Davenport and his wife Crystal D. Rogers of Pasadena, Calif., and Richard W. Sullivan III and his wife Christine L. Medeiros of Little Compton; and two great grandsons, Aidan Davenport and Wyatt Sullivan.
She was the mother of the late Deborah Bodington.
Her graveside service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Tuesday, April 11, at Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton, at 11 a.m.
Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.
