EAST PROVIDENCE — The City of East Providence and the East Bay Community Action Program, is seeking participants for the second annual Mayor’s Youth Summer Police & Fire Academy.
The 2020 Mayor’s Youth Summer Police & Fire Academy will host 15 participants and will be held at Phillips Street Hall, located at 51 North Phillips St.
The academy will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning on Monday, July 20, and will conclude on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
Each participant will receive a $200 stipend for their participation in the academy. Due to the pandemic and state and local guidelines, participants should note that academy training topics and schedule is subject to change.
Also, participants will be required to wear a mask during the academy. Masks will be provided to each participant.
