EAST PROVIDENCE — The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience of our veteran small business owners during the 10th annual National Veterans Small Business Week (NVSBW), including a roundtable discussion in city on Friday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. at the Crook Point Brewing Company, 65 Massasoit Ave.
The week-long schedule includes in-person and virtual events highlighting the nation’s nearly two million Veteran-owned small businesses, concluding with a the discussion at Crook Point featuring Jack Reed, U.S. Senator for Rhode Island; Marlene Cintron, Regional Administrator (Acting for Region 1), SBA; and Mark S. Hayward, District Director, SBA.
The talk will provide local veteran-owned small businesses with an opportunity to talk about issues they are facing as well as talk about what potential collaborations and solutions may exist to help move veteran-owned small businesses and the small business community as a whole forward.
