• 3:30 p.m.: Middle school girls’ soccer team hosts St. Mary Academy Bay View.
• 4:35 p.m.: PHS boys’ and girl’s cross-country team hosts multiple schools at Glen Park/Polo Grounds.
• 4:45 p.m.: PHS junior-varsity girls’ volleyball team hosts Classical in the field house.
• 6:30 p.m.: PHS varsity girls’ volleyball team hosts Classical in the field house.
• 7 p.m.: PHS girls’ varsity soccer team hosts St. Mary Academy Bay View.

• 4:15 p.m.: PHS girls’ varsity tennis team hosts North Kingstown.
• 4:15 p.m.: PHS unified volleyball team hosts Barrington.
• 6 p.m.: PHS girls’ junior-varsity soccer team hosts Toll Gate.
Friday, Oct. 7
• 3:30 p.m.: Middle school boys’ soccer team hosts Thompson.
• 6:30 p.m.: PHS girls’ varsity volleyball team hosts Mount Saint Charles in the field house (junior-varsity teams play at 4:45 p.m.).
• 7 p.m.: PHS boys’ varsity soccer team hosts Tolman on the turf field (junior-varsity teams play at 5:30 p.m.).
PORTSMOUTH — The Patriots’ varsity girls’ volleyball team lost a non-conference match against East Providence on the road Friday night, 3-2.
The Patriots are now in fourth place in the state championship division with a 2-3 record (2-5 overall). The team has recorded wins over Prout and West Warwick.
Portsmouth will travel to Cranston East for a 6:30 p.m. game on Monday, Sept. 26, and then to East Greenwich on Wednesday, Sept. 28. Both games are at 6:30 p.m.
The Patriots will host Classical in the field house at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, then travel to Coventry for a 6:30 p.m. match on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Portsmouth is back home on Friday, Oct. 7, to host Mount Saint Charles at 6:30 p.m.
