East Providence lit up for the holiday season this past weekend, with three tree lighting events taking place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Friday’s lighting event in Riverside brought out a family-friendly crowd to take pictures with Santa (and his curmudgeonly rival, The Grinch), make ornaments, and listen to carols from Voices of Christmas, decked out in their period garb.
