Honors memory of young East Providence resident Costa

EAST PROVIDENCE — A special “Good Night Lights” display took place last week in city as residents and members of the East Providence Police Department not only saluted the young patients across the river at Hasbro Children’s Hospital as they so often do, but also celebrated the life of Blake Costa.

The “Remembrance Night" focused on what family and participants recalled as the "Heavenly Birthday" of Blake, who passed at the age of five from pediatric brain cancer earlier this year. Blake’s birthday was August 25. His parents, Nick and Lisa, were at the forefront of the special evening.
