Community group holds annual event in "The Square"
EAST PROVIDENCE — The Riverside Renaissance Movement held its annual Christmas Tree Lighting event on Friday, Dec. 3, in "The Square."
Local restaurants like Rhodes Pizza, Union Burrito and Borealis Coffee provided specials. Children made ornaments and the "Voices of Christmas" sang carols before Santa Claus arrived for the actual lighting.
