LINCOLN — East Providence's Elijah Peixoto won the second fight of his fledgling boxing career Friday night, Aug. 9, making his debut with the locally-based CES promotion on its card at Twin River Casino.

Peixoto defeated Carlos Otero by unanimous decision in their four-round super lightweight (140 pounds) bout. Peixoto improved to 2-0-0 as a pro while Otero, of Florida, suffered his first loss in three fights.
