Barrington Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading is sponsoring its first ever Punt, Pass and Kick and Flag Football event at Barrington High School — the field next to the large parking lot — on Saturday, July 16. (The rain date is July 17.)

The event, which is open to boys in girls in grades 1 through 8, will feature a variety of fun activities.

The throwing/kicking clinic will take place before the competition. Prizes will be awarded to boys and girls in different grade levels.

There will also be a flag football competition — teams will be made by league officials and games will run for 10 minutes each. A cheerleading competition will also take place.

There will be an obstacle course for kids to run through and test their skills at. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the competitions begin at 10:30.
