Letter: Thank you to our wonderful neighbors

To the editor:

My name is John Hadalski. My wife Karen and I reside at 2 Roosevelt Drive in Bristol, where we have lived for the past three and one-half years. We are both seniors.

On the night of June 11th I believe, Karen ventured out about 9 p.m. to walk our dog Angus along Roosevelt Drive.  She slipped on some wet grass and fell hitting her head on the pavement and lay unconscious for a short time. Two neighbors, a man and a woman, found Karen, helped her up, put her in their pickup truck along with Angus, who never left Karen’s side. They drive them home and knocked on the door and explained everything that had happened.  Karen was very dazed, Angus was concerned but calm.

I frantically got Karen inside and fumbled around trying to call 911 for an ambulance. In this situation, these two wonderful people left without me getting their names or properly thanking them.

These wonderful people saved Karen’s life. I do not know who you are, but you are reading this; please accept our thanks. We hope to meet you again at some point where we can properly thank you. God Bless you.
