Paula Areia Cumston, 51, passed away Oct. 8, 2019, at her home in Ormond Beach, Fla., after a two-year battle with lung cancer.

Paula was born on the Azores island of Pico, Portugal on Sept. 13, 1968. Her family immigrated to the United States in 1977.
