Mermaid menagerie: aquatic art at King Lens and Friends Gallery

Dan Blakeslee, folk musician and artist, will be displaying his works at The Kings Lens and Friends Gallery.

Blakeslee is known for his nautical style, featuring mermaids and other ocean creatures. He designed Newport Folk Festival's 60th anniversary poster and has played with Langhorne Slim and The Lumineers. Come see the art July 22-29 at The King Lens. The gallery is open from 10 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
