Mrs. Mary (Vieira) Luciano, age 96, of Franklin Street, Bristol, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019. She was the wife of the late Antonio F. Luciano.
Born in Bristol and a longtime resident, she was a daughter of the late Manuel L. and Anna (Pacheco) Vieira. She was a resident of Barrington for 30 years.
Mary was a jewelry worker for many years, spending her last nine years as an inspector for Trifari Jewelry Company in East Providence, retiring in 1985. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church and a member of its Holy Rosary Sodality.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna V. Fortin, Alice Correia and Philomena Torres, and a brother, Manuel Vieira. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at 11 a.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in Maria Del Campo Cemetery, Barrington. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
