Maria dosAnjos (Cabral) Botelho, 68, of Easterbrooks Avenue, Bristol, passed away on Oct. 13, 2020, at home. She was the wife of Joao Carlos Cabral.
Born in Agua do Pau, St. Michael, Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Jose Medeiros and Lurdes Cabral. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Tony Botelho and his wife Christina, Aurelio “Al” Botelho and his wife Alexandria, Lubelia Dunbar, Verber Botelho and Carla Botelho. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren. She was the sister of Jose Medeiros, Antone Medeiros and the late Maria Jose Froias.
Mrs. Botelho was educated in Portugal and employed as a machine operator by Converse, Robin Rug and Premier Thread before retiring.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 16, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Mask use is required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
