Manuel doSanto Cristo Silva, 74, of Rosedale Drive, Bristol, passed away on March 1, 2021, at home.  He was the husband of the late Julia Lauriana (Sousa) Silva.

Born in Faja de Baixo, Sao Miguel, Portugal, he was son of the late Manuel and Rosa de Jesus (Cabral) Silva. He was the father of Carlos Silva of Portugal;  Jose Silva of Warren, R.I.; Jorge Mario Silva of East Providence, R.I.; Ilidio “Tony” Silva of Portugal; Joao Fernando Silva of Woonsocket, R.I.; Patricia Vincente of Portugal; Silvino “Sal” Silva of Rehoboth, Mass.; Paulo Silva of Rehoboth, Mass.; and Steven Silva of Bristol, R.I. He was the brother of Silvino Silva, Sylvia Silva and the late Jose Antonio Silva and Berta Sousa.

Mr. Silva was educated in Portugal and employed by Sevigny & Collins Construction before retiring.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., Bristol.
