Live 'Santa's Workshop' returns to downtown Bristol this weekend

Santa Claus and helpers will be back in downtown Bristol this weekend, for the "Santa's Workshop" live display in a corner storefront window. Elaborately staged by volunteers from the Bristol Christmas Festival Committee, the workshop features live characters inside a studio showing Santa getting ready for Christmas Eve.

It is located at the  corner of Hope and State streets, in what most remember as a former Dunkin' Donuts. Remainingn dates are Fridays, Dec. 4 and 11, from 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 12, from 2 to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 19, from 3 to 7 p.m.
