To the editor:

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Bristol Fire Department for responding to our home numerous times over the Christmas holiday due to a system malfunction in our fire alarm. They responded quickly and demonstrated the utmost professionalism.
Their dedication to keeping Bristolians safe is unwavering, even on a holiday. The town of Bristol is very fortunate to have such exemplary, well-trained volunteers.
We commend the leadership of Chief DeMello and the rest of the department, as well as their predecessors, and want the entire department to know how much they are appreciated.

Sincerely,
Codman Place Condominium Association
42 High St.
