I want to thank all the folks who came out this past weekend to clean up the town and/or participate in an environmentally-oriented activity.
I also want to thank the Mt. Hope High School Environmental Club and its Tree-Plenish program. It motivated a lot of residents/organizations to plant saplings, including the Bristol Land Conservation Trust, of which I am a member. We were happy to spend Sunday morning planting trees at Harding Estates, a location of one of our properties.
I hope that the momentum to keep Bristol clean and plant native species will keep up so that we have a healthy environment for us and our future generations.
