Letter: Thank you for thinking of the seniors!

Around 3 p.m. one day last week, I heard someone come up the stairs, then a knock at the door. I asked who is it? It was this sweet person whom I have talked about here and there for all her kindness and empathy. Her name is Donna. She works at the Benjamin Church Senior Center.

She dropped off a meal of corned beef and cabbage. So surprised and grateful!

The sad thing is we had to stay six feet away from each other, which I understand. I thanked her, and she left.

The Benjamin Church Senior Center has been a Godsend to me over the years. When I took the container from the bag I noticed a sticker on it. It said, ‘You may be isolated for awhile but not forgotten.’ So I put the sticker on the fridge to remind me ...

My heartfelt thanks for thinking of me and all you and everyone else do to help us seniors!
