Letter: On the Bristol safe contents

To the editor:

I would like to comment on the bronze plate of the Colt Memorial School logo that was recently found in a safe at the former Oliver School. If I were a professional betting man, I would wager that the plate was used to emboss the leather seat backs of the seating in the Colt Memorial School auditorium.

I remember that the genuine leather seats were a dark emerald green and beautifully embossed the the logo that was the approximate size as shown in the plate.
