Letter considered ‘hate speech’

Posted

To the editor:

Last weeks’ Phoenix contained a vilely anti-semitic letter accusing Israel of apartheid ideology, ethnic cleansing and genocide, all of which are patently false accusations. The fact is that all of this dishonest garbage and hate speech has a constant theme of anti-semitism and it has no place in a publication or in the public forum.

This kind of BS does not in any way help the Palestinian war refugees or advance the cause for peace. All it does is provide a forum for a fascist ideology that the USA has fought against since its inception.

Shame on the authors of that letter for these false accusations and shame on the Phoenix for providing a platform for hate speech and fascist politics.
