Letter: Bring forth the trash bin troops

I read with interest the front page Phoenix article about our new 65-gallon trash bins and the folks who are having difficulty using them. This seems like a perfect opportunity for fellow Bristolians to once again show how we take care of each other in our town.

I just know that for every person struggling with their bin there is at least one, and probably several, neighbors who will be happy to, and feel good about, helping their neighbor with their bins.

Maybe our civic leaders could spend some time promoting and making this happen rather than analyzing 65- vs. 35-gallon bin costs, etc. I’m betting this will be time well spent for our community.
