James Anthony Quatruopolo Sr., 83, of Bristol

James Anthony Quatruopolo Sr., 83, of Bristol, R.I., died Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

He was the husband of the late Roseanne (Rucci) Quatruopolo.

Born in Bristol, R.I., he was the son of the late Dominick and Rose (Orefice) Quatruoplo.

James worked as a self employed TV repairman and later for Warren Electric Company. He served in the U.S. Military Reserves from 1955 until 1962. He left the Reserves with a rank of SP4.

He loved his wife and children. James loved going out to eat, day trips, and his grand puppies. He enjoyed watching game shows on TV and any new electronic gadgets.

He is survived by a son, James Quatruopolo Jr., of Bristol, R.I., and two daughters, Lori Sardinha and Robert of Bristol, R.I. and Kelly Levin and her husband Alan of Norton, Mass. He was also the brother of the late Dominick Quatruopolo Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 9:30 a.m., from Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol, R.I.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, from 8-9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Please be advised that wait times may be longer than usual due to COVID restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 146 Clifford St. #1, Providence, RI, 02903, or to the American Heart Association, 1 State St., Unit 200, Providence, RI, 02908.
