Gail Lillian Peloquin,78, formerly of Warren and Bristol, Rhode Island, passed away on Feb, 21, 2021, with family by her side at Tockwotton on the Waterfront in East Providence.
She was born to the late Albert and Lillian Peloquin on Aug. 12, 1942, in Spencer, Mass. Gail graduated from St. Peter’s Central Catholic in Worcester and went on to attend Becker Junior College. Gail later received a bachelor’s degree from Roger Williams University in Education and a master’s degree in Special Education from Rhode Island College.
Gail is survived by her son, Robert Conway and his wife Michelle of Newport, R.I., and her daughter, Michele Conway Gaudet of Dayton, Ohio. Gail joins her daughter, the late Debra Conway Pimental in heaven. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Amanda Conway (Jon Haldeman), Kaya Florczak (Cameron), Shannon Conway, Lindsay Conway and Tad Gaudet; and two great-grandchildren, Raedynn and Albie Haldeman and her loving sister, Darlene Colonna, and husband, Vito.
Gail was dedicated to public school education and displayed a passion to help all students reach their potential and beyond and was known in the Bristol-Warren school district as an outstanding educator, supportive colleague and a loyal friend. She had a love of tennis, sailing, spending time at the beach, shopping and seafood dinners.
Her devotion to her family was deeply felt and appreciated by all who knew her. She will be remembered as a storyteller, a sassy and playful grandmother, an animal lover, and an adventurous and brave traveler.
The funeral for Gail will be held on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021 with an 11 a.m. Mass in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer, Mass. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the Mass in the church. Private burial will follow service in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, Mass.
