Mrs. Eleanor A. (Antonelli) Froncillo, 86, died Aug. 21, 2021, surrounded by her loving children. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Froncillo, her husband of 51 years who preceded her in death in May of 2010. Born and raised in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Americo and Elvira (Noviello) Antonelli.

A resident of Bristol since 1967, Ellie was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, a volunteer for Blithewold and Linden Place, and a member of the Bristol Garden Club.

Like the beautiful person she was, she had a gift for making everything around her beautiful. She was a talented artist, enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and loved being with her husband, Bob, while sailing around the waters of Rhode Island. She had many interests, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by four children: Christine Raulli and her husband, Richard, of Portsmouth, LCDR Steven Froncillo (USN Ret.) and his wife, Traci, of Chesapeake, Va., CAPT Robert Froncillo, Jr. (USNR Ret.) and his wife, Nathalie, of Crownsville, Md., and Lynn Reyes and her husband, Oscar, of Plantation, Fla.; 10 wonderful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Americo Antonelli, Jr. (the late Irene), Joseph Antonelli (Barbara), Nicholas Antonelli (the late Angela), and Ann Campbell (the late Graham).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Nov.18, 2021, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol.  Burial will follow in The Cremation Garden at North Burial Ground, 1081 Hope St., Bristol. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blithewold Mansion, Gardens and Arboretum, 101 Ferry Road, Bristol, RI 02809 or online at https://www.blithewold.org/ or to the American Parkinson Disease Assoc., RI Chapter, PO Box 41659, Providence, RI  02940 or online at www.apdaparkinson.org/community/rhode-island
