Mrs. Concetta “Connie” (Piemontese) Falco, age 95, of Kingswood Road, Bristol, died peacefully Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.   She was the wife of the late Louis R. Falco.

Concetta was born in Old Forge, Pa., to Lorenzo and Martha (Ruggiero) Piemontese, and was a Bristol resident her entire life  She was called Cuchatina by her parents and known to all her family and close friends as Cuch!

In 1981 she secured a position as cook and housekeeper at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for the pastor, Father John W. Lolio. She enjoyed serving many of the wonderful priests in the diocese throughout her more than 20 years of service to the parish.

In 1987, Connie went to Italy on a parish trip. The highlight was meeting Saint Pope John Paul, II. After retirement she enjoyed traveling to spend winters in Florida.

She will be remembered as a kind and generous person, always going above and beyond for anyone or everyone.  She was always there for others at funerals and family events to cook a buffet for the family. She had an unbelievable talent and was always willing to share out of love. Her extraordinanry culinary skills were passed down to all of her children, which made her very proud.

Throughout her life, she managed to instill by example: generosity, compassion, empathy, fortitude, kindness and love to her children, grandchildren and all whom she came in contact with. She enjoyed having fun and we all have many “Cutch” stories to pass down to generations to come. She will always be lovingly remembered for her joy, love and goodness.

Connie was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church all her life, a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and also the former Daughters of Isabella. In 1999, Connie was given the highest honor for any parishioner. She was named chief marshal of the parish feast in Honor of Mary, Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

She is survived by three children, Sandra Ruggiero (Robert Langevin), Patricia Salcone (Martin “Buddy” Biancuzzo) and Louis Falco (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Dina Ruggiero, Beth Heelan (John), Matthew Salcone, Michael Salcone and Jennifer Carvalho (Filipe); and her great-grandchildren, Connor Padovich, Shea Heelan, Colin Padovich, Reed and Layne Heelan, Elijah and Sienna Carvalho. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, Godchildren, and was Nana, Big Nana and Auntie to so many who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her two siblings, Matthew Piemontese and Lena Alisio, whom she loved with all her heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol, RI  02809.
