Catherine J. (Pikor) Marshall, 61, of Bristol passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday Dec. 8, 2021. She was the loving wife of Richard D. Marshall, Jr. for 37 years before her passing.

Born in Fall River, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Muriel (Davol) Pikor.

Catherine graduated from Rogers High School, class of 78. She worked at local insurance agencies for over 25 years. She enjoyed cooking for her family, baking with her grandchildren, crocheting, spending time outdoors and taking trips to New Hampshire to visit her son. Most of all, Catherine loved being a mother, grandmother and wife.

She leaves behind her husband Richard; sons: Richard D. Marshall III (Nicole) and Matthew Marshall (Courtney); her grandchildren: Jayde Marshall, Jakob Marshall and Tyler Marshall; her stepdaughter Sarah Del Rosario (Jorge); her step grandchildren: Capone Del Rosario and CaliMae Del Rosario, her sister Charlotte Dionne; and many extended family and friends.

Catherine was pre-deceased by her parents and her sister Susan Dew.

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Friday Dec. 17, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in the Linden Grove Cemetery, Reed Road, Westport, Mass. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at Sansone Funeral Home from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to Bristol Firefighters Memorial, 4 Annawamscutt Drive, Bristol or to The Lifespan Foundation, 167 Point Street, Providence, RI 02903.
