Bristol  police officers made a handful of arrests, including two for DUI, from Feb. 15 to 21. They also charged the owner of a new juice bar with numerous drug and weapons offenses — an arrest which was reported separately last week.

Monday, Feb. 15

An officer checked on a parked vehicle along Tower Street, found the owner and dispersed them from the area at 8:16 a.m.

Delia V. Labao, 48, of 137 Bradford St., Apt. 3E, Bristol, was stopped along Bay View Avenue at 9:10 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Ryan Avenue at 2:45 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 16

A resident on Sea Breeze Lane reported an issue with a neighbor yelling out the window at 5:47 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 17

A caller reported a large number of syringes along the side of Wood Street at 8:06 a.m. An officer responded and found they were glow sticks and straws.

Justin Welch, 27, of Newport, was charged with four counts of possession with intent to sell narcotics (cocaine), possession of narcotics, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a crime of violence, and carrying a dangerous weapon while in commission of a crime.

A Vasta Lane resident reported fraud.

Matthew P. Gervais, 32, of 10 Baker St., Apt. 2, Bristol was charged with violation of a protective order at 10:41 p.m. He was processed at the station and released.

Thursday, Feb. 18

A resident on Slocum Street reported a fox in their front yard at 9:10 a.m. An officer responded but found nothing wrong. The fox was reportedly resting.

A caller from Gil’s TV and Appliance reported a past larceny.

A caller reported a sick skunk on Hillside Road at 2:22 p.m.

A caller from State Street reported loud music at 11:03 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 19

A Constitution Street resident reported hearing fireworks at 12:41 a.m.

A caller from Massasoit Avenue reported a neighbor making some type of noise that woke her up at 4:10 a.m. A patrolman responded and did not hear anything at that time.

An officer spoke to a dog owner on Johnson Court about an ongoing issue with a barking dog at 5:54 a.m.

A caller from Gray Street reported a window shot out with a BB gun at 7:26 a.m.

An officer euthanized a possibly rabid skunk on Stephen Drive at 8:24 a.m.

A caller from Bristol Ace Hardware reported larceny at 10:12 a.m.

An officer warned a resident at the corner of Cooke and Union streets about a barking dog.

A caller from Ridge Road reported a possibly sick skunk at 2:57 p.m.

A resident on Hampden Road complained about dirt bikes riding up and down the road at 3:57 p.m. They were gone when an officer arrived.

A caller from Hope Street reported neighbors playing loud music at 11:57 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 20

A caller from Evelyn Drive complained of noise at 12:12 a.m.

A caller reported six young adults hanging around by the dock at the Mt. Hope Boat Ramp at 12:27 a.m. An officer responded but did not find them.

A resident along Cole Street reported a group of people yelling and walking up and down the street at 1:01 a.m.

Police called Roger Williams University to send a shuttle to pick up three students who were along Metacom Avenue at 2:23 a.m.

A resident on Second Street reported a man banging on their door and running in their yard at 2:57 a.m. Officers were unable to locate him.

Sunday, Feb. 21

An officer spoke to a group of four people who were playing music loudly on Primrose Drive at 3:05 a.m. They were advised to turn it down.

Amadou S. Bah, 22, of Bedford, N.H., was charged with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test at 4:01 a.m. along Hope Street.

DEM was called to handle a rabid skunk on Hope Street at 1:54 p.m.

Someone reported an injured fox along Gibson Road at 2:55 a.m. It reportedly fled into the woods.

An officer spoke to subjects who were racing dirt bikes along Sweeney Lane at 3:05 p.m. They were advised to stay off the roadway.

A resident on DeWolf Avenue reported bikes stolen from the residence at 8:16 p.m.
