Bristol Police: Mother and daughter arrested after fight with ex-boyfriend

Following are police incidents and arrests in Bristol from Sept. 16 to 22, including the arrest of a mother and daughter who allegedly attacked and broke the nose of the daughter's ex-boyfriend.

Monday, Sept. 16

A resident on Hilltop Street reported damage to a garage door.

After a report of a tenant acting disorderly while she was being evicted by constables at 8:40 a.m., officers responded to a Wood Street address, where they arrested Kristin L. Pereira, 30, of 578 Wood St., second floor, on a District Court warrant.

A caller reported a sickly looking coyote at Independence Park at 10:42 a.m.

Ibrahima Diedhiou, 56, of Pawtucket was arrested on a District Court warrant.

An officer took a report of a past assault on the Town Common.

Someone reported a juvenile on a dirt bike driving recklessly on Fatima Drive at 5:17 p.m. He was gone upon arrival of an officer.

A caller reported a disturbance in the area of Catherine and Wood streets at 9:06 p.m. An officer responded and said it was a woman disciplining juveniles.

Tuesday, Sept. 17

A caller complained about a truck emptying dumpsters at Pomodoro Pizzeria at 4:18 a.m.

A caller reported a sickly looking coyote on the Town Common at 8:42 a.m.

A caller reported a sickly looking coyote on the corner of Buttonwood and Franklin streets at 9:42 a.m.

At 10 a.m, a caller from Poppasquash Road reported that they heard tree-cutting in Colt Park at 1 a.m.

A River Street resident reported larceny of a chainsaw at 3:38 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 18

An officer dispersed a car and its occupants from Lower Ferry Road at 1:12 a.m.

A caller reported a sickly looking coyote on Constitution Street at 1:39 p.m.

Officers responded to a reported a fight in the kitchen area at Quito’s restaurant at 5:05 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 19

Officers responded to Judge Roy Bean Saloon at 12:41 a.m. for a reported fight. They dispatched rescue to the scene. No one was arrested at the time (see below).

A caller complained about construction trucks making noise at the Prudence Ferry site at 6:32 a.m.

A 19-year-old was cited for unlawful drinking after an ID check at 3:17 p.m. at 1776 Liquors on Metacom Avenue.

A Richmond Street resident reported lawn items taken from their front yard.

A caller from Bristol Food Mart requested assistance removing a customer from the store at 7:08 p.m.

An officer dispersed four people from the Town Common at 9 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 20

A caller reported a loud group of people in the street along Mt. Hope Avenue attempting to tip over a barrel at 12:21 a.m.

Two people were dispersed from the area of State and Thames streets at 1:29 a.m.

A caller reported an injured fox on White Tail Drive at 12:07 p.m.

A caller reported a sick raccoon on Cedar Drive at 12:57 p.m.

A caller reported a coyote sitting on the side of the road along Franklin and Magnolia streets at 1:02 p.m.

A car hit a deer on Metacom Avenue near Griswold Avenue at 3:11 p.m.

An officer spoke to four juveniles who were reportedly scaring people as they walked by at the corner of Wood and Franklin streets at 6:53 p.m.

A vehicle and its occupants were dispersed from Asylum Road at 9:37 p.m.

After responding to a call for a disturbance and dispatching rescue to Mt. Hope Avenue, officers arrested Arthur M. Teixeira, 59, of 24 Mt. Hope Ave., Apt. 1, Bristol, and charged him with disorderly conduct.

Saturday, Sept. 21

Officers worked to trap and remove a coyote from an area along Hope Street at 11:25 a.m.

Two people were arrested after a call for a fight/disturbance on Wood Street at 12:49 p.m. Olivia F. Federico, 18, of 10 Violet Court, Bristol, and a 17-year-old were each charged with domestic assault, brought to the station, arraigned and released.

A caller complained about loud music on Addy Drive at 8:15 p.m.

A resident complained about loud music on Wood Street at 8:51 p.m.

A caller from Sousa Street reported smelling something burning at 8:52 p.m. An officer responded and spoke to a resident who had a small cooking fire in the back yard.

A caller complained about a large gathering on DeWolf Avenue at 10:30 p.m.

After being transferred from Tiverton Police, Kayla M. Berryhill, 21, of 260 Hope St., Apt. 3, Bristol, was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card, larceny under $1,500, receiving stolen goods and breaking-and-entering. The arrest relates to a previous incident at Gillary’s Tavern on Thames Street.

Officers responded to Almeida Apartments on Bay View Avenue to assist Roger Williams University security officers after they reported a fight at 11:09 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 22

A caller reported loud music on Wood Street at 12:41 a.m.

A caller reported a fight on Massasoit Avenue at 3:17 a.m. An officer responded and found a group of men in the roadway having a verbal argument. There were no arrests.

An anonymous caller reported two women fighting in the area of Metacom and Hopeworth avenues at 10:22 a.m. An officer responded but the alleged combatants were not located.

A Congregational Street resident reported her vehicle was vandalized overnight.

A resident on St. Elizabeth Street called police to report a stolen vehicle and said they had video evidence. The bike was returned and the owner declined to press charges.

Officers responded to Catherine Street at 2:28 p.m. after multiple people reported a fight in progress involving multiple people, with someone brandishing a baseball bat. It was a dispute between neighbors, and all parties were advised.

A mother and daughter were arrested on warrants, stemming from a previous incident outside of Judge Roy Bean restaurant. Jessica A. Dias, 40, of 15 Fatima Drive, Bristol, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct. Haileigh L. Pacheco, 20, also of 15 Fatima Drive, Bristol, was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and felony assault. According to police, they attacked Ms. Pacheco’s ex-boyfriend on Thursday, Sept. 19. Rescue was called to the scene and reported the victim had a broken nose and contusions to his face and head.

A caller complained about women being loud on a porch on Court Street at 11:13 p.m.
