Bristol Police made no arrests, but did chase down a few complaints about noisy neighbors or misbehaving juveniles, in incidents reported between Nov. 23 and 29.

Monday, Nov. 23

Officers were called to High Street for a dispute between neighbors at 12:33 p.m. It was resolved without further incident.

An officer was called to Wood Street to investigate a neighbor who was reportedly throwing items off a balcony at 2:31 p.m.

Officers were called to a Wayland Road residence to help deal with a disorderly juvenile at 8:55 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

Officers assisted on King Philip Avenue after a juvenile was struck by a vehicle at 1:37 p.m. The victim was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

An officer was called to Wood Street at 4:07 p.m. after a resident complained about a neighbor throwing yard waste over a fence.

An officer spoke to the owner of a vehicle that was parked at the intersection of Metacom Avenue and Pagano Street for several weeks that had flat tires. The owner said it would be moved the next day.

Officers were called to a Wood Street residence after a report of a fight between a mother and her intoxicated son at 10:07 p.m. There were no arrests.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

Officers responded to a Constitution Street residence shortly after midnight, when someone filed a noise complaint about people doing work on an apartment. They were advised to cease for the night.

Officers were called to a Constitution Street residence at 1:32 a.m. for a report of loud music playing from inside an apartment. A patrolman heard no music upon arrival, just residents who had recently returned home.

Someone called at 4:47 p.m. to report suspicious activity because a man and woman were seen walking around in the woods near Coelho Park off Jenny Lane.

Thursday, Nov. 26

A resident notified police that people were seen walking around a shed on Fales Road at 4:47 a.m. Officers responded and found nothing amiss.

Friday, Nov. 27

A Siegel Street resident called police at 2:32 p.m. to complain about people trespassing onto his property.

Someone reported a suspicious vehicle, a dark-colored Mercedes, parked in the VFW parking lot along Creek Lane at 7:57 p.m. It turned out to be no problem; the driver was waiting for his wife to get out of work.

An officer spoke to three juveniles — two on bikes and one on a scooter — after getting reports that they were riding in traffic along Metacom Avenue at 8:12 p.m.

A State Street caller notified police of a dispute with her neighbor at 11:36 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 28

An officer spoke to a resident on Franklin Street after complaints about loud music at 12:37 a.m.

Officers responded and then rescue was called to the scene after two males were seen fighting on Second Street at 12:38 p.m.

A caller from Domino’s Pizza on Gooding Avenue filed a no-trespass complaint at 3:51 p.m.

A caller reported a vehicle swerving in the road along Roma Street at 10:16 p.m. Officers checked the area but did not find anything.

Sunday, Nov. 29

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Prospect Street at 9:46 a.m.

An officer investigated a group of juveniles playing at the park along Sweeney Lane at 12:16 p.m. after someone reported a large group not practicing social distancing. The officer found them wearing masks.

A caller from King Philip Avenue stated that several people were at a vacant house at 1:07 p.m. Officers responded and found no problem, just the property owners on the property.

A resident complained of fireworks on Colt Avenue at 4:53 p.m.

Officers were called to Prospect Street at 9:23 p.m. following a domestic disturbance.
