Bristol Police made seven arrests and extinguished two small fires between April 17-24, 2023.

Bristol PD: Seven arrests made in busy week

Monday, April 17
A Magnolia Street resident reported at 7:57 a.m. that their boat had gone missing from the location where it was stored.

A Monroe Avenue resident complaint about loud motorcycles operating on the street at 11:10 a.m.

A man on Easterbrooks Avenue was reported at 7:52 p.m. for loudly talking to himself. He agreed to lower his voice.

Tuesday, April 18
Derek Lloyd, 35, of Providence, was arrested following an incident on Franklin Street at 3:56 a.m. He was charged with three counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, second offense; refusal to relinquish/obstruction of a telephone, first offense; and disorderly conduct, first offense), as well as one count of possession of a schedule I-V controlled substance (greater than 10 grams, less than one ounce, first offense).

The animal control officer picked up an injured duck from Annawamscutt Drive at 8:27 a.m. and transported it to a wildlife rehab in Portsmouth.

Wednesday, April 19
A motor vehicle accident on Hope Street at 2:16 p.m. resulted in a transport to the hospital.

A report of a person in a black Nissan making obscene gestures was reported near Wood Street and Mt. Hope Avenue at 3:02 p.m.

David Rhynard, 18, of Bristol, was arrested on a warrant at 3:16 p.m. and charged with simple assault and/or battery, disorderly conduct, and possession of marijuana (first offense within 18 months).

Leah Medeiros, 19, of Bristol, was arrested on a warrant at 8:19 p.m. and charged with simple assault and/or battery and disorderly conduct.

Devan Walsh, 40, of Bristol, was arrested on a warrant on Bay View Avenue at 8:42 p.m. and charged with vandalism.

Mackenzie Bonhomme, 32, of Bristol, was arrested on Murphy Avenue at 11:06 p.m. following a disturbance. He was charged with four counts of domestic violence (two counts of violating a protective order, simple assault and/or battery, and the refusal to relinquish/obstructing use of a telephone, all first offenses).

Thursday, April 20
Police checked on a residence on Adelaide Avenue at 8:40 p.m. that reported seeing a flashlight in their window. Police found no issues.

Friday, April 21
Vandalism to a vehicle on the Roger Williams campus was reported at 9:34 a.m.

A sick raccoon was reported on Bay Street at 2:10 p.m.

Bristol fire personnel put out a fire that was left unattended on Roseland Avenue at 2:26 p.m.

Saturday, April 22
David Pacheco, 31, of Bristol, was arrested following a report of suspicious activity on Hope Street at 1:18 a.m. He was charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of simple assault and/or battery, and was transported to the ACI.

Larceny from an apartment was reported at 8:17 a.m. on Richmond Street.
A report on Collins Street at 4:41 p.m. indicated there were three pitbulls loose in the area who may have bitten someone.

Paul Foster, 33, of Bristol, was arrested following an incident on Wilson Street at 11:44 p.m. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery and disorderly conduct, both first offenses). He was arraigned and released.

Sunday, April 23
Bristol fire personnel put out a flower bed that was reportedly smoldering on State Street at 4:53 p.m.

A man who was reportedly yelling for an extended period of time on Wood Street was spoken to at 6:03 p.m.
