A resident reported at 1:15 p.m. that their computer was hacked the prior week.

Fraud was reported on Beach Road at 2:29 p.m.

A Sowams Drive resident contacted police at 6:07 p.m. to report receiving scam phone calls.

Tuesday, March 14
A Bradford Street resident reported to police at 1:16 a.m. that he could hear voices on his Alexa device, and asked them to check if the residence was secure. They found it to be secured.

Nathaniel Stacey, 37, of Wakefield, was arrested following a report from a resident at 4:32 a.m. that their car had been broken into on Metacom Avenue. Stacey was charged with two counts of tampering with vehicles/larceny less than $1,500.

DEM was advised to pick up a deceased deer from near Metacom and Mt. Hope Avenues at 7:05 a.m.

Police assisted in a civil dispute on Birchwood Road regarding water being pumped into a neighbor’s yard.

Wednesday, March 15
Police spoke to solicitors in the area of Cliff Drive at 7:20 p.m. who did not have proper identification.

Meghan Caromile, 43, of Bristol, was arrested near Metacom Avenue and Chestnut Street at 7:38 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop. She was charged with DUI while transporting juveniles under the age of 13 and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer.

Thursday, March 16
Collin Gaska, 36, of Bristol, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. on a Superior Court Bench Warrant. He was transported to the ACI.

A chimney flue failure led to a fire run on Peck Avenue at 4:57 p.m.

Friday, March 17
A report of trespassing was logged on Elmwood Drive at 2:56 p.m.
David Branca, 25, of Bristol, was arrested at 4:01 p.m. on Jenkins Street for a warrant out of Smithfield for a charge of cyberstalking. He was transported to Smithfield PD.

Police assisted a man who reported that he was being followed home by two men around 11:48 p.m. from the area of Hope and State Streets.

Saturday, March 18
An injured coyote was reported on Wood Street at 1:06 a.m. Police found the animal had left the area.

Richard Lynch, 37, of Bristol, was arrested at 1:17 a.m. on Wood Street following a disturbance. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses).

A Metacom Avenue resident reported at 1:58 a.m. that items had been stolen from their vehicle.

A High Street resident reported at 2:27 a.m. that they had been physically assaulted earlier that night in a different location.

Police looked for a group of ATVs riding in the area of Narrows Point at 2:55 p.m., but didn’t find them.

Richard Coelho, 61, of Bristol, was arrested on Naomi Street at 10:12 p.m. following a disturbance. He was charged with three counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, disorderly conduct, and violating a no contact order, all first offenses). He was transported to the ACI following his arraignment.

Sunday, March 19
Cesar Quintanilha, 37, of Bristol, was arrested on a warrant by the Providence Police Department at 10:30 a.m. on Washington Street in that city. He was charged with domestic violence (vandalism, first offense), and two separate counts of vandalism. He was picked up by Bristol police, arraigned, and was released.

Somebody reported at 2:35 p.m. that items had been removed from grave sites at St. Mary’s Cemetery and placed by the maintenance building in the rear of the cemetery. However, the complainant wasn’t on scene when police arrived.
