Monday, Jan. 16
A possible Medicare scam was reported on Bourne Street at 2:48 p.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 17
A caller reported that another driver threw a can of Red Bull at their car, but caused no damage, near Hope Street and Gooding Avenue at 2:34 p.m.
An incident of fraud was reported on Broadcommon Road at 3:41 p.m.
An abandoned bike was reported on Mt. Hope Avenue at 5:48 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 18
Police checked on a loud music complaint on Thompson Avenue at 10:22 a.m. but didn’t find any evidence of such activity.
A report of threatening comments made by a neighbor was logged on Francis Street at 4:00 p.m.
Two people were reported as suspicious on Metacom Avenue at 8:20 p.m. but were found to simply be smoking a “legal substance”.
Thursday, Jan. 19
At 5:49 p.m. the Bristol Fire-Marine Rescue assisted in the rescue of a person who had gone into the water near West Harbor Road in Barrington. They were successfully secured by the Coast Guard and transported to the Bristol Coast Guard Station.
Friday, Jan. 20
Authorities assisted a rabbit on Bourne Street at 6:21 a.m. that had gotten stuck in a fence. The unlucky bunny was freed.
The larceny of a package was reported on Hopeworth Avenue at 1:17 p.m.
Police received a report of juveniles playing in the roadway on San Antonio Avenue at 9:49 p.m. but they didn’t locate the kids.
Saturday, Jan. 21
Police dispersed a group of juveniles who had congregated around a street sign on Annawamscutt Drive at 1:22 a.m.
Vandalism was reported on Hope Street at 8:29 a.m.
Helen Dias, 41, of Bristol, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. on Sweeney Lane following a disturbance. She was charged with two counts of domestic violence (disorderly conduct, and vandalism, both first offenses). She was arraigned and released.
Sunday, Jan. 22
A report of harassing phone calls came in from a Bray Lane resident at 11:40 a.m.
A house was reportedly egged on Peckham Place at 12:55 p.m.
Shyanna Elizabeth Pimentel, 31, of Bristol, was arrested at 10:52 p.m. on Bradford Street following a disturbance. She was charged with a 6th District Court warrant, and was later transported to the ACI.
