Police looked into a possible threat at Colt Andrews Elementary School at 11:41 a.m.

Police received a report that juveniles were playing loud music and breaking glass on a basketball court at Cedar Crest Park on Fatima Drive at 8:38 p.m. They found no glass but did advise them to turn the music down.

Tuesday, May 16
A resident reported their vehicle was damaged by a car wash service on Gooding Avenue at 1:51 p.m.

A possible scam was reported on Fox Hill Avenue at 3:00 p.m.

A resident on Tilbury Drive reported at 4:36 p.m. that a man had threatened them with a bat and then left the area in a truck. Police caught up with the suspect later to speak with them.

An accident involving a private ambulance occurred on the Mt. Hope Bridge at 4:43 p.m., and the report indicated it caused injuries.

A Metacom Avenue resident reported that their vehicle was stolen while parked in front of their home around 8:50 p.m.

Wednesday, May 17
A dog was reportedly running loose in the North Burial Ground on Hope Street at 10:47 a.m. but it eluded capture by authorities.

Damage to a mailbox was reported on Platt Street at 2:33 p.m.

Police assisted in keeping the peace following a disagreement between students on a school bus near Roosevelt Drive and Lang Avenue at 3:44 p.m.

Fraud was reported on State Street at 6:28 p.m.

A person on foot flagged down an officer on the Mt. Hope Bridge looking for a ride into town around 11:51 p.m. They obliged the request.

Thursday, May 18
Valdemiro Loras, 38, of 5 Wilson St., Apt. 3 in Bristol, was arrested at 8:39 a.m. and charged with one count of vandalism.

Police received a report that four or five juveniles were breaking a window on the south side of the Walley School on High Street around 5:09 p.m. DPW was notified to clean up the glass, and the alleged troublemakers weren’t identified immediately.

Police dispersed a man who was causing a disturbance at the Rogers Free Library on Hope Street at 5:11 p.m.

Friday, May 19
Police received a report that juveniles in a pickup struck were attempting to “scare” motorists near Chestnut Street and Jane Lane at 12:54 p.m. Police found the truck empty when they got to the scene.

An accident resulting in injuries occurred on the Mt. Hope Bridge at 6:10 p.m.

Police received a report that an underage female was attempting to purchase alcohol on Metacom Avenue at 8:47 p.m.

Saturday, May 20
Police spoke to individuals from RWU who were in the midst of a loud party on Greenway Drive at 3:19 a.m.

A rescue was requested to the Town Beach following the report of a fight at 9:02 a.m. involving two females. The state police were also called in.

Police wrangled three juveniles and transported them back to their parents after receiving a report that the three boys had jumped a fence onto private property on Gooding Avenue.

Police investigated a suspicious note that contained threats that was left at the Citizens Bank inside Stop and Shop on Metacom Avenue at 1:03 p.m.

Police searched for a juvenile on Sowams Drive who was reportedly knocking on doors and running away around 2:58 p.m. Police reported it was an ongoing prank in the neighborhood, but they weren’t able to find the individual. A resident requested extra patrols in the area.

A caller on Christine Court reported being assaulted by family members at 9:30 p.m.

Police received a report that a man was walking in and out of the lobby of the Bristol Harbor Inn “yelling at hotel staff” around 11:25 p.m. They couldn’t make contact with the man.

Sunday, May 21
A sick fox was reported in the area of Duffield and Crest Roads at 4:37 p.m. but authorities found nothing in the area.

A caller on Sowams Drive reported at 4:47 p.m. that juveniles had caused damage to their door during a prank.

Monday, May 22
A loud generator was the subject of a noise complaint on Franklin Street at 12:39 a.m.
