Bristol police received multiple reports of stolen catalytic converters and came across a makeshift coffin for a deceased pet snake.

Monday, Oct. 17
A Shannon Court resident reported at 9:53 a.m. the theft of a catalytic converter from over the weekend.

Damage to a door was reported at 9:57 a.m. on Franca Drive.

Tuesday, Oct. 18
Bristol police responded to a walker on the Mt. Hope Bridge at 1:58 p.m. Portsmouth PD wound up assisting the individual.

Police issued a no trespass order on Hope Street to a man who was panhandling around 3:45 p.m.

Police spoke to a loud group on Constitution Street at 11:34 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 19
Police spoke with a working crew who were using power tools and a generator on a rooftop on Thames Street at 12:23 a.m. They agreed to stop work for the night.

A report of vehicle tampering was logged from Ballou Boulevard at 2:05 a.m. It was later learned that a catalytic converter had been stolen overnight.

A caller reported that their dog was attacked by a German Shepherd near Hope Street and Gibson Road earlier that morning.

Theodore Theodorsen, 18, of Fairfield, Conn., was charged with using a fake identification in order to purchase alcohol on Metacom Avenue at 4:56 p.m.

A report of 5 or 6 juveniles pulling on telephone supports was logged on Wood Street at the Town Common at 6:22 p.m. but police found no one at the scene.

Police assisted a man who had become locked inside CVS on Metacom Avenue at 10:15 p.m. They were able to free him.

Thursday, Oct. 20
A caller on Metacom Avenue reported at 11:23 a.m. that a rock had struck her vehicle from someone who was mowing a lawn.

A motor vehicle accident resulting in one being sent to the hospital was recorded at 4:16 p.m. on Metacom Avenue.

Friday, Oct. 21
Police received a report that a patron of a State Street establishment had left without paying their tab at 1:15 a.m.

A rollover car accident near Metacom and Mt. Hope Avenues was reported at 7:01 a.m. One was transported to the hospital.

Daniel Torres, 18, of Providence, was arrested following an incident on Lower Ferry Road at 11:43 p.m. He was charged with three counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, disorderly conduct, and vandalism, all first offenses). He was arraigned and released.

Saturday, Oct. 22
A loose goat was reported near Metacom Avenue and Sowams Drive at 8:18 a.m. It was gone when authorities arrived.

Dirt bikes were reported at the end of the road on Roosevelt Drive at 1:45 p.m. but were gone when police arrived.

Police responded to a report of a fight involving around 10 people near the Lincoln Club on St. Elizabeth Street at 8:47 p.m. A rescue was requested following their response to the area.

Sunday, Oct. 23
Police received four complaints of loud music between 12:37 a.m, and 12:54 a.m. on John Street, Catherine Street, Church Street, and King Philip Avenue.

A caller on the bike path near Thames Street reported finding an odd cigar box with “RIP” on the side. Police found that inside was a deceased python snake. It was removed by the animal control officer.

A female pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle near Metacom and Hopeworth Avenues around 6:13 p.m. They were transported to Rhode Island hospital.

A caller on State Street reported at 8:10 p.m. that a cash box had been stolen earlier in the night.
