Betty Ann (Healey) Weston, 90, of Bristol passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. She was the devoted wife of Edwin J. Weston for the past 68 years before her passing.

Born in Elkins Park, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William and Frances (Michaels) Healey.

Betty was an avid reader and this love of all things literary drove her to become a librarian. She was immensely proud of having earned her Master’s Degree and her time spent at Penn State.

Betty worked as the librarian at the Convent of the Sacred Heart School in Connecticut for many years. Betty enjoyed spending her free time volunteering in our community. She was a past president of the Bristol Art Museum, volunteered at the Blithewold Mansion, Gardens, and Arboretum here in town and also Linden Place. What she enjoyed the most though was spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to her 12 grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband Edwin, she also leaves behind her five children, 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and the many friends and acquaintances she made over the years.

In death she is reunited with her parents, Frances and William; her grandchild, Ellen Rudnicki; and her siblings, Eileen O’Connor, Dottie Boyce and Patty Young.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visitation will be at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to Linden Place Museum, 500 Hope St., Bristol.
